Comments on Article that Said to Come from the Pope About Heaven and Hell

Hi All,

I hope you are doing very and are in the best state of faith.

A recent article apparently shows the ideas of the Pope and his council about heaven and hell and Adam and Eve (Peace be Upon Them).

http://entertainment.vacancynigerians.com/2013/12/shocking-there-is-no-hell-fire-adam-eve.html

You know what I think is happening here....the pope is being all-inclusive (heterosexuals, homosexuals, communists, etc.) are all welcome to the church of a Loving God. He says all religions are true and it is in a truth in our hearts, etc.

I personally, think that this a good step from a dogmatic and harsh church, mosque and clergy/priesthood oligarchy which somehow takes the role to obliterate certain freedoms unjustly. and in this sense appreciate this move.

However, I think about certain ideas of him, such as there is no heaven and hell, no Adam and Eve, as something the pope is free to express ...at the same time, this type of comment (if it is truly from him) is something I can reject with proof and reason. I think the stance of him and the papacy is that of trying to overcompensate for the harshness of priests and dogmatic oligarchy in the past, with such great love and all-inclusiveness that they are in a sense they are throwing out the baby with the bath water.

My dear brothers and sisters, in every traditional and ancient holy of a monotheistic nature which the pope says the love of God is apparent and pouring out from, there is clear description of heaven and hell which does not correspond to anything anyone experienced here on earth - how can this be literal????? Even from a basic point of view, if I have soul, does it makes sense for the soul that is made of something else, to be rewarded or punished by something that appeals also to a physical body made of earth???

There is clear description of dying and how the dead is raised up to be JUDGED, just like Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) asked how this is possible and God gave him a sign that I am not sure how anyone can categorize as just literally story. You want the sign and story? Please answer me why did God bother with such a elaborate story to make it seem like resurrection is literal???? Please explain it, I want to know as well.

Islam and all religions in their original form are about loving and fearing God. Now, if some church or mosque or temple decided to be elitist and abuse religion for their own end, it should not mean that later on they need to correct it by saying : " Oh we love you all so much, there was no heaven and hell...come here and you will be loved" etc.
I believe there is heaven and hell but it is not up to a priest, clergy or pope to represent the judgement of God. When the slaughter houses established by so called religious are being shut down, why do they start opening a frat house or sorority by neglecting the true manual????

The content rejecting the notion of Propeht Adam (PBUH) as the first human being (sample find here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJDrCQXi0mU ) as well as now the papacy and the like-minded movements do contain some truth to some degree, for me it does not amount to actual researched religious facts.
This type of "All-Inclusiveness" is good for reducing/eliminating slaughter and unjust power of a church or a mosque. But who amongst you can prove to me the heaven and hell and Prophet Adam and Eve are just symbolic and literal figures? Who of you can guarantee that when I die, I am actually not raised form death and judged for my actions to be sent of to an eternal life that DOES not look like this earth?

How can your ideas not go against the Qur'an and authentic texts of bible and torah (if to be found?)

God KNOWS who goes to heaven and hell, it is not decided bysomeone ruling and threatening people or riding on guilt or winning people by advertising God's love. God's decree is His. And we have to read and look at the message of the prophets carefully.

Thanks for your time and consideration.
